序
西暦2483年、人類は突如として現れた異性体により、攻撃を受け地上の大都市の４割を喪失した。
突如として現れた異性体の形容は機械的ではなく、鳥のように両翅の生えた美しい生物質であった。
人類との戦闘に入ると、特殊な超常能力により、それに対して人類が捕捉、明確なる打撃を与える事は難しく、彼等は人類や各主要都市を駆逐し、人類の生存圏は狭まっていた。
その、容貌と超常的な戦闘力を有する事からそれらの「異性体」は人類から「天使」と呼ばれ恐れられた。
西暦2490年、人類にある転機が起こる。
「日本皇国自衛軍第一特殊戦対天使機動小隊」所属の伊藤二尉は、友軍の機動兵二機と数人の兵站歩兵と共に荒廃した東都28区内（旧東京23区）の敵拠点付近を偵察中、天使３体に遭遇した。
彼等、天使の識別名は、下位三体アルケー【権天使】である。
アルケーは近接戦を得意とし恐れられている生命体であった。人類の各国軍は、対天使兵器として、所謂、機動外骨格（通称、騎兵）を導入し、対天使高速弾射出兵器として、電磁式レールガンを採用していた。
日本皇国自衛軍も例外ではなかった。
レールガンは、電磁誘導により、加速して弾体を射出し音速の8倍で発射するものであったが、対天使戦闘での、撃墜対被撃墜比率（キルレシオ）は、平均1.5:10と惨憺たるものであった。
機動外骨格による、電磁式ライフルによる超音速射撃は当たれば、天使と言えども無傷では済まないのだが、西暦2490年代の自動管制弾速誘導システムでは標的に回避され、捉える事が出来ない。音速の8倍で発射する、超音速兵器をもってしても絶望的な状況であった。
伊藤二尉等が天使と接敵した2分後には友軍の新見の搭乗する騎兵は撃墜され新見は騎兵から引き摺り出され天使に喰われている最中であった。
数人の兵站歩兵が血みどろの中生身で戦っているのを見て騎兵に搭乗している伊藤も絶望していた。
「俺も…ダメだ…。」そう思った刹那、伊藤の脳内で何か電流が走った。
自分の中で何かが変わった気がした。
何故か、伊藤の身体は勝手に動いて騎兵の自動管制弾速誘導システムを自動から、手動に切り替えマニュピレータ越しにそこだと思う空間に電磁式ライフルを連射した。
「バン…バンバンバン」と銃身から咆哮が鳴ると何がが墜落したのだ。
伊藤の表情は絶望感から至福に変わっていた。
墜落した何かは、「天使アルケー」であった…。
奇跡が起きたのだ…。
そして、最初の覚醒、人類にとっての福音、エースの誕生であった。(続く)

prologue
In AD 2483, humans were suddenly attacked by isomers,
We lost 40% of the metropolises on the ground.
The sudden appearance of the isomer was not mechanical, but rather a beautiful, bird-winged organism.
When they entered into a battle with mankind, it was difficult for them, due to their special supernatural powers, to capture it and to give it a clear blow, and they had driven out mankind and each major city, and their sphere of existence had narrowed.
Because of their appearance and supernatural fighting power, these "isomer" were called "angel" and feared by mankind.
In the year 2490, a turning point occurs in mankind.
While reconnaissance in the devastated area of the 28 Wards of Toto (Former Tokyo 23 wards), Second Lieutenant Ito, who belonged to the 1st Special Forces Task Force of the imperial nation of Japanese Self Defense Forces(First Special Battle Anti-angel fighter Mobile platoon )、along with two mobile soldiers of the friendly army and a few logistics foot soldiers, encountered 3 angels.
The distinguished name of them, angels, is the lower three arches (Principality).
Alche was a life which was good and feared in close combat. Troops around the world have introduced so-called mobile exoskeletons (commonly called cavalry) as anti-angel weapons, and have adopted electromagnetic rail guns as high-speed anti-angel projectile weapons.
The imperial nation of Japanese Self-Defense Forces were no exception.
Rail guns used electromagnetic induction to accelerate projectiles and fire at 8 times the speed of sound. The average ratio of shooting down to shooting down (Kill Ratio) in battles against angels was 1.5: 10.
Supersonic fire using an electromagnetic rifle with a mobile exoskeleton is not unscathed when hit, even angels, but in the 2490s, it is avoided by the target and cannot be caught by the automatic control bullet speed guidance system. Even with supersonic weapons, which launch at eight times the speed of sound, the situation was hopeless.
Two minutes after Second Lieutenant Ito and others came into contact with the angels, the cavalrymen on board Niimi of the friendly army were shot down, and Niimi was being dragged out of the cavalrymen and eaten by the angels.
Ito, who was riding in his cavalry, was in despair when he saw several logistical infantry fighting in the face of blood.
Just as he thought, "Me, too. ... No. ...。" an electric current ran through Ito's brain.
I felt something had changed in me.
For some reason, Ito's body moved on its own and switched the cavalry's automatic control bullet speed guidance system from automatic to manual, shooting an electromagnetic rifle through the manipulator and into the space he thought was there.
What went down when the roar sounded from the barrel of the gun, "Bang ... Bang Bang Bang".
Ito's face had changed from despair to bliss.
Something that crashed was "Angel Alcet" ...。
There was a miracle ...。 and the first awakening, the gospel for mankind, the birth of the ace.
